"Give Fennimore credit. They are playing well and were better than we were that night," said Pointer ccoach Dan Burreson. "I was not really happy with how we played, .It was not the way we have played lately. We turned it over too many times and had too many defensive breakdowns. In spite of that we still have our chances late in the game. Hopefully this will serve as a wake-up call going into the tournament. We need to be ready to go every night."
He added, "Wes Berget gave us some good minutes tonight. Isaac Lindsey and Jack Warrick had to battle through some things last week, but I'm proud of the fact they were ready to go at game time. Chance was able to get the ball to the basket."
