It was a match where the Pointers couldn't really get anything going as they dropped a couple of matches they were expected to but it was a win against a SWAL opponent 38-33 over Riverdale.
"We started at 182 with a pin by Riley, but then forfeited two matches. Then we lost a close one at 285 when we had a chance win," said Pointer coach Scott Schmitz. "We got a forfeit then lost one at 113 - we just didn't want bad enough. Caden got a big win for us at 132 and Springer got a major against one of their better wrestlers. We thought we'd win at 145, but got out of position. We still had time to win, but couldn't get it."
