Friends (not the TV show)
By J. Patrick Reilly-preilly@thedodgevillechronicle.com
I consider it something very special for that person to check in. This person has massive struggles in the health department and is doing a pretty decent job working through problems and raising a young son.
It seems I should be the one checking in and at times I do.
What does this mean?
It tells me whatever is going on in life is better shared between friends.
True friends say they care about you and show it.
For that I am thankful.
I am sure others have people in their lives who are genuinely good people and actually do care. Those are the ones worth keeping.
I plan to keep my friends and I hope they feel the same way.
