The Arrows took the lead in the top of the eighth on a single, an error and a passed ball.
That set the stage for Niemeier's two rbi single with two out in the bottom of that frame. She drove in Lindsey Murphy, who had walked, and Trilby Chitwood, who reached on a single.
Murphy struck out 10 and walked eight while alowing three earned runs on five hits.
"On offense we left runners in scoring position six out of the eight innings, however 'B', Trilby and Emma really came up big when we needed it," said Dodger coach Gene Van Dyck.
"Defensively we were really solid again with every position contributing. Trilby threw out two would-be base stealers to limit them to only one run in the first,"he added.
"Murphy caused us big trouble with eight walks, but she helped with 10 strikeouts. Over the last four innings se really started pitching and limiting them to one run, two hits and two walks."
