The last six and a half minutes of the WIAA Division 6 Level 1 battle between SWAL members Fennimore and Mineral Point ended up in favor of the Maroon and Gold and those are not Mineral Point's colors.
With a little over six minutes left in the game and the score tied at 21 all, Fennimore quarterback Jordan Williams took a break from showcasing his golden arm and scored on a 12 yard keeper to give the Golden Eagles a 28-21 lead when they added the conversion.
The Pointers had their chance and pushed the ball to the three yard line before the Eagles came up with a late in the game stop.
