Delevan-Darien proved one thing Friday in a Level 1 match-up with Mount Horeb/Barneveld.
The Comets do not lack in staying power.
D-D upped their season record to 6-4 with a 28-21 overtime win over the Vikings. MHB ended its season 8-2. Delevan-Darien was seeded #7 as they faced #2 MHB.
It took a huge effort for the Vikings to tie the game at the end. With :39 left the Vikings used the passing arm of Clint Murray and the receiving hands of Mitch Ryan to get within a point of sending the game into the extra period. Cris Petrussatti then kicked the conversion to make it 21 all.
