Ithaca up next after Cardinals down Panthers

Next up for the Highland Cardinals is a rematch of last year's level two football game when the team travels to Ithaca Friday.
After beating the team with the largest enrollment in Division 7, Iowa-Grant, 42-6 the Cardinals are hoping the momentum continues and that last year's match-up result can be reversed.
"We lost 42-12 last year and learned some valuable lessons from that," said Highland coach Mike Aide. "We learned from our mistakes in that game and carried it over to this year."
What are the Cardinals expecting from the Bulldogs this year?
"Ithaca has a very physical line," said Aide. " They have very talented running backs and receivers. Their quarterback is also very sound throwing the ball."
