Pointers fall to River Valley on the mat

"It was a great match for the fans to watch, but from a coaches standpoint we found out we have a lot to work on."
That was the takeaway that Mineral Pin wrestling coach Scott Schmitz had from his team's 35-30 loss at River Valley Tuesday night.
"We knew going in it was going to be a tough match. We lost a close one at 126, a couple of majors and by some pins. We gave up way too many bonus points. But we can buil on this," he said.
Schmitz mentioned the nice win by Kaleb Pilling, in his first varsity match as being a plus.
