Dodgers take Lancaster in three

Sweep!
Dodgeville's volleyball team started their SWC season with three straight wins over Lancaster Thursday.
Scores were 25-18, 25-14, and 25-18.
Dodgeville coach Shelby Rideout was pleased with the Dodgers' effort.
"Overall, we played some good volleyball," Rideout said. "We served aggressively, which gave us a huge advantage on defense, and the girls were positive and full of energy. We played tough at the net too, but we will keep working on a quicker offense."
Katie Valeria had 10 kills and four blocks to pace the play at the net.
Marissa Parkin had six aces and Jordyn Alfred had two digs.
Marissa Parkin had 22 assists and Kara Crowley added 20.
"More than anything, it was a great feeling to watch this group be rewarded for all the hard work they've been putting in," Rideout said.
