Pointers rebound with three straight


After watching Darlington outlast the Pointers in a sluggish first game the tide was turned for a three straight comeback wins.
The Redbirds outlasted the Pointers 25-22 in the opening game then watched their opponents roar back with three convincing wins. The Pointers won the match on scored of 25-16, 25-21 and 25-21.
Clara Chambers led the Pointers in kills with 13 and aces with five. She also had 10 digs and recorded a block.
Sydney Staver added eight kills and 15 assists. Haley Chubb came up with a pair of blocks and Alayna McCarville helped in the assists department with nine.
For the Redbirds Taryn Rankin had five kills and nine digs. Kennedy Rankin recorded four blocks and four aces. Chelsea Golackson had four aces and Gabrielle Steiner seven assists.
