Dodgeville's volleyball team got in some valuable pre-conference season court time and finished second at the Six Rivers sponsored Jamboree at Highland last weekend.
The Dodgers beat Potosi, Ithaca and Highland, all by 2-0 scores before losing to Southwestern in two matches.
Scores against the Lady Chieftains were 25-17, 25-22. The Dodgers beat the Lady Bulldogs 25-18, 25-8. The Cardinals fell to the Dodgers 25-14 and 25-11.
Southwestern, a big, rangy team with experience, got past the Dodgers 25-20 and 25-16.
Katie Valeria was the kills leader for the day with 17. She also added nine aces and 21 blocks.
Madison Stumpf had five aces and 16 digs.
Kara Crowley had 30 assists and Marissa Parkin 28.
Katie Cushman was the leader in digs with 21.
