I-G, P/A compete in SWAL conference meet
The rest of the team scores were: Southwestern/Cuba City 127, Riverdale 137, Iowa-Grant 164, Fennimore 177, Pecatonica/Argyle 223.
In the girls' race, Albany won with 22 to Boscobel's 45 and Darlington's 64. Then came Pecatonica/Argyle 132, Fennimore 136 and Iowa-Grant 151.
Boscobel's Dakota Kauffman won the boys' race in 16:42 over Darlington's Jaden Komprood's 16:52.
Iowa-Grant was paced by William McLeer taking 14th in 18:30. Then came Ben Connolly 28th in 19:49, Easton Dobson 35th in 20:11, Wyatt Reeves 65th in 22:19, Jacob Soman 71st in 22:57, Ben Amend 84th in 24:12 and Mason Moon 85th in 24:27.
Pec/Argyle finishes were: Joey Boland 45th in 20:44, Tristan Waage 52nd in 21:12, Logan Swearingen 69th in 22:50, Cade Bush 70th 22:50, Caleb Carr 74th in 23:12, Dakota Hoffman 78th in 23:23 and Marcel Timm 89th in 26:24.
Darlington perfect scored in the JV meet with 15. Then came Boscobel at 46 and Riverdale with 85.
Albany's Ciara Kaderly won the girls' race in 19:40 over Boscobel's Mackenzie Kauffman's 20:01. Both are juniors.
Albany also won the team race with 22 points to Boscobel's 45, Darlington's 64, Pec/Argyle's 132, Fennimore's 136 and Iowa-Grant's 151.
Iowa-Grant finishes were: Angela Melby 16th in 22:47, Caitlyn Fowell 39th in 25:31, Liz Biddick 46th in 26:27, Makayla Dicken 53rd in 27:19, Julia Cockroft 61st in 28:38 and Jamie Dilley 66th in 30:46.
Pec/Argyle finishes were: Josie Penniston 12h in 22:15, Hannah James 26th in 26:24, Samantha Erickson 30th in 24:50, Adriana Johnson 43rd in 26:22, Abby Lomis 59th in 28:35 and Jessica Erickson 46th in 31:24.
Darlington won the JV meet 20-37 over Boscobel.
