Cardinals can't stop Ridge

Highland was down from the start in game one, but tied it at 15.
"At that point I thought we were on a roll and could make this a match," said Cardinal coach Maria Wineski.
But, instead visiting River Ridge won that game and then went on for a three set win Tuesday night in Six Rivers West play.
Scores were 25-19, 25-13, 25-17.
Kessica Kosharek was the leader in almost every category as she had 13 kills, a block, an ace serve and 13 digs.
Karen McMannes came up wih 17 assists.
"Jessica had a good game. It was too bad that the rest of the team didn't follow," Wineski pointed out. "She did a good job seeing the ball and not letting it just come to her."
"We beat Belmont last week in a good win being down 2-1 and coming back on their court," Wineski said. "I thought this is the team I thought we had, but tonight everything turned around."
The Cardinals travel to Cassville Thursday night.
"They beat Potosi. You just never know in this league."
The Cardinals are now 3-5 in conference play.
