The 2nd Annual Farmers Appreciation Day Fun Run/Walk is scheduled for Saturday, July 11 at Harris Park in Dodgeville.
There will be a kids 1k run at 5:30 p.m., a 5k run at 6:00 and a 3k walk at 6:10
Registration goes from 4:30-5:30 p.m.
Awards will be given in each age bracket for 1st and 2nd place in the 5k run and the kids run (12 years old and younger). Ribbons will be given to all kids run participants ages 5-12.
Pre-register by July 3 to receive a race day t-shirt. Entry fee is $20 for adults, $15 students 13-17, $10 kids 5-12.
Funds raised will go towards items needed to be successful with Dodgeville-Mineral Point Cross Country and Track and Field programs, who are hosting the event .
A grill out and entertainment will follow the run at the Harris Park Ley Pavilion.
