Dodgeville's Senior Babe Ruth team stayed with Wisconsin Heights for six innings Wednesday but an error filled half frame did them in.
The Vanguards scored four in the bottom of the sixth for a 7-3 win.
Cole Sullivan had a 3-2 lead in his favor when he exited the mound after four strong frames. He struck out four, walked one and gave up two hits and two runs in the fourth.
Zack Weber took over and suffered the loss. He gave up no earned runs on four hits and two walks.
The Dodgers had seven hits with Sullivan the leader with a 2x3 night. Trent Jones, Levi Nagel, Weber and Matt Gorgen had the hits.
Two runs scored in the third for the Dodgers on an error and a single by Sullivan. Sullivan also singled in a run in the fifth.
