Amos and Verna Moen of Mt. Horeb, and formerly of the rural Blanchardville/Drammen Valley Road farming neighborhood, will celebrate their 75th wedding anniversary on February 3, 2015. They were married on that same day (February 3) in 1940, at the bride's home - at a wedding ceremony officiated by the Rev. I. A. Lavik.
They are the parents of ten children: Glen, Marie, Norma, August, Dennis, Marcia, Kevin, Carolyn and Rolfe and Donald who are both deceased. They also have 19 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
