Dodger boys shoot lights out in 3rd for win

"We must've shot 90% in the third quarter,' said Dodger coach Ryan Bohnsack after a 75-66 win at Evansville Tuesday night in non-conference boys basketball action.
The Dodgers put up 31 points to Evansville's 17 in that frame and then held off a late rally by their hosts.
In that third quarter, Trent Jones hit four three pointers and Jordan Olson nailed one. Levi Nagel added a trio of two pointers to the cause in that frame too.
"Everybody stepped up for us tonight," Bohnsack said. "Ryan Raess hit a huge three in the second quarter and Jordan Olson hit a big one in the fourth quarter."
On the night, Nagel led all scorers with 27 points, including a trio from downtown. Jones had 22 markers, all coming in the second half.
Evansville was led by Kyle Rutkowski's 17 points with Zach Mielke adding 14 and Brennan Banks with 12.
"We played really well," Bohnsack pointed out. "Levi was consistent the entire game and led us in the first half. Then Trent got hot in the second half, scoring all of his points."
"We have to work on closing out on the shooters and recognizing them better though," he concluded.
The Dodgers host Platteville Friday night, River Valley on Monday, both are key SWC match-ups, and Wisconsin Heights on Tuesday.
