Dodger girls get four in double in NG win

Junior forward Megan Pluemer scored eight of her 13 points in the first quarter and sophomore Kara Crowley had nine of her 16 in the third to send the undefeated and top ranked Dodgeville girls basketball team to a 66-34 win over New Glarus in non-conference game last Tuesday.
Senior Samantha Crowley added 14 points and senior Taylor Stanek 12 to put four girls in double figures for the Dodgers.
The two best quarters for the Dodgers were the second and third when they scored 20 and 21. After taking a 14-9 first quarter lead the Dodger girls never looked back.
Vanessa Narveson led Mount Horeb with eight points while three players--Yvonne Strahm, Sara Rotar and Lydia Sprecher--all had six.
