Pointers fall on last second shot

"We dug ourselves too deep a hole," Pointer coach Dan Burreson said. "We allowed them to dictate the pace of the game."
He added, "I was proud of the way we battled back. We had the lead a couple of times, but they hit the gamewinner with 8 seconds left. But, I was very proud of our effort."
He pointed to Chance Wendhausen scoring 22 of his 28 points in the second half as helping the comeback. "He did everything he could," Burreson added. "Also, Jack Warrick gets better each game. He had another double double tonight."
"Give Black Hawk credit," he said, "they made shots when the needed them.
Besides Wendhausen's 28 points, Warrick hit 1 as the other Pointer t b ein double figures.
The Warriors were paced by Conner Meyer's 19 points. CJ Leuzinger added 15 (all threes) and Josh Meier also came up with 15.
