Strong 2nd half boosts Arrows past I-G


Lancaster girls got 18 points each from Alexis Galvan and Kindra Yoose and toppled Iowa-Grant 66-53 in non-conference action Monday.
The Panthers trailed only 34-33 at halftime, but a 32-20 Arrow bulge in the second half propelled them to the win.
Lancaster's Lauren Tholes added 10 points as the other Arrow player to hit double digits.
Iowa-Grant had a 20 point performance from Taylor Liddicoat with Haley Yelinek hitting 12 and Kristin Bingham adding 11.
The Panthers are now 2-5 on the season while Lancasters moves to 6-4.
