Panthers cruise past Platteville boys
Brayden Johnson added 10 points with Jack Reeves coming off the bench to chip in 9, all in the second half.
The Panthers held a 26-19 lead at halftime.
This was the best defensive performance of the season," said Iowa-Grant coach Toby Tripalin. "We just played great team defense. We rotated better and communicated better every time up and down the floor."
"Platteville has a pretty balanced team so we tried to deny their posts," he added. "We chased them offensively to keep them away frm the three point line as well."
"Our subs came off the bench and maintained that same effort," he concluded.
The Hillmen were led offensively by Braden Nies with 11 points.
The Panthers travel to take on Cuba City Thursday night in a key SWAL showdown.
"This should be a great game," Tripalin said.
