Dodger 138 lb. John Phelan took that top spot with seconds going to 152 lb. Joey Recob, 220 lb. Shelby Jones and 285 lb. Payton Calvert.
Taking third were: 106 lb. Max Miller, 145 lb. Noah Durst and 170 lb. Zach Weber.

"The wrestlers have shown a tremendous work ethic so far this season and I am very excited about the potential of this team," said Dodgeville coach Ryan Lord. "The early competition identified some technical areas that need some work, but overall we had a successful opening to our season. We have been without several starters in Brady Wetter, Jack Shickel, and Jonathon Geisking due to injury or illness, but hope to have them back in the near future."
