A four run third was enough to send Mineral Point's softball team to 5-1 win over Riverdale in a SWAL softball game Monday.
The runs came on a two run double by Destinee Kruser, a ground out rbi by Kayla Lindholm and a run scoring single by Clara Chambers.
Chambers finished the night with a 2x4 plate and two rbis. Kruser was 1x4 with two rbis. Lindholm and Elise Ames also had rbis. Besides Chambers and Kruser the Pointers got hits from Lindholm and Rebekah Ottoway,
Savannah Lawinger went the distance for the win. She gave up three hits, walked two and struck out two.
