D-P girls win, boys 2nd at Prairie invite
The girls totaled 119 points to runner-up Cuba City's 109.
The rest of the team scores were: Platteville 99.66, Westby 96, Viroqua 51.33, La Crosse Central 48, River Valley 42, Boscobel 35, Lancaster 29, Darlington 29, Richland Center 21, Fennimomre 18, Belmont 4, Southwestern 1.
Dodge-Point's Syd Staver won the 400 in 1:10.88 while Hannah Owens took the 3200 in 11:05.
Mary Hanson topped the 800 field in 2:24 while the 400 relay team of Alexa Bohnsack, Jaynie Gorgen, Marissa Parkin and Jalissa Weier won in 55:05.
The 1600 relay team of Mikaela Bakker, Kennedy Stumpf, Brittany Rhyner and Hanson won in 4:18.84 as did the 3200 team of Stumpf, Emily Philipps, Owens and Rhyner in 10:22.
Their 800 sprint medley team of Gorgen, Jaycie Runde, Weier and Staver also won in 1:58.62.
La Crosse Central topped the boys field with 101.5 points to Dodge-Points' 82.
Then came Cuba City 77, Darlington 75.5, Westby 63, Platteville 58, River Valley 54, Viroqua 50, Boscobel 48, Lancaster 35, Belmont 25, Fennimore 21, Richland Center 10, Prairie du Chien 2.
Dodge-Point's Jim McGuire won the 300 hurdles in 44.1 and the 400 relay team of Tony Rill, Kyle Fitzsimmons, Josh Shepler and Cris Francia won in 45.76.
The 800 relay team of Noah Goetzke, Ryan Raess, Shepler and Francia took the top spot in 1:37.26 as did the 1600 team of Gerrit Bakker, Steven Blume, Shepler and Jack Schickel in 3:40.12.
They completed their sweep of the regular relays when the 3200 team of Bakker, Payton Grunow, Blume and Schickel won in 8:38.64.
