David and Lonna (Jorgenson) Smith were married October 19, 1974 at First Lutheran Church in Albert Lea, Minnesota. They have two sons, Troy of Pardeeville and Travis (Jenny) of Dodgeville. They have three grandchildren, Lillian, Ethan (deceased) and Gabriel. They celebrated with a trip to New York and a cruise.
