Thankful the world over

By Kayla Barnes-

The world right now is a scary place. There is war in the
Middle East, there is turmoil in Syria and there is a small war
right here in the United States in Ferguson, Missouri. This is
the time of year that we look back before the year is completely
over and reflect and be thankful for what we have. There is
not a limit or a list of what you can be thankful for. You can be
happy and thankful for anything from having a car with fourwheel
drive to having a hot meal, as I am thankful for both. I
am thankful to have a family always there for me. I am thankful
for my husband for loving me and excepting me for all that
I am and for laughing at all my awful jokes. I am thankful for
our beautiful house that I can finally call it my own. I am
thankful for this weather (call me crazy, I know) for all its
challenges and unpredictableness and because it gives my
father a job. I am thankful for life and all of its ups and downs
and for my health even though it is not how I would like it to
be, I am glad I am here. So please take the time to think about
all you are thankful for. Have safe travels. Go get some deer
and happy shopping!
