All-Conference boys basketball teams named


SWC
Richland Center's Alex Mortimer was named the the First Team 2013-14 Boy's Basketball All-Conference team and was also named Player of the Year.
His coach, Brandon Ewing, was named SWC Coach of the Year.
Dodgeville junior Levi Nagel was also named to the First Team as was River Valley senior Gale DeVita, Platteville senior Derek Schambow and Lancaster senior Nate Tranel.
Dodgeville senior Nate Hottmann was given 2nd Team honors along with River Valley senior Tayt Caraway, Prairie du Chien senior Austin Roach, Richland Center senior Luke Anderson and Lancaster junior Sam Fredrick.
Honorable Mention went to Dodgeville senior Austin Larson, River Valley junior Brandon Gillbeck, Prairie du Chien senior Brett Trautsch along with teammates junior Austin Haas and sopohmore Evan Stanek and seniors Tanner Ames and Adam Brogley of Platteville, along with junior teammate Blake Wagner.
SWAL
Undefeated SWAL conference champion Mineral Point placed four players on the First Team and senior Trevor Wendhausen was named Player of the Year with coach Dan Burreson being named Coach of the Year.
Joining Wendhausen on First Team were senior Chanler Leonard along with juniors Sy Staver and Turner Poad.
Iowa-Grant sophomore Isaac Anderson was also name to First Team honors as was Boscobel senior Jamie Mathews and sophomore Ryan Latham, Cuba City juniors Preston Droessler and Zach Gaines, Darlington junior Cole McDonald, Fennimore senior Mitch Davis and Southwestern senior Carter Fleege.
Honorable Mention went to a fifth pointer in junior Alec Schmitz.
He was joined by Iowa-Grant senior TJ Anderson and sophomore Brayden Johnson, Boscobel seniors Christopher Folbrecht and Logan Wacker, Cuba City sophomore Ben Burkholder, Darlington senior Cade Hardyman and junior Ben Mulstein, Fennimore junior Zach Adkins, Riverdale senior Nick Wiederholt and junior Montana Lins and Southwestern senior Bailey Fellenzer.
SIX RIVERS EAST
Co-champions of the Six Rivers East Barneveld and Black Hawk both placed one on the five-player first team.
Eagle senior Jeremy Whitish and Warrior junior Heath Butler gained those honors along with Pecatonica junior Drew Schliem, Albany senior Isaiah Shell and Monticello senior Lucas Marty.
Barneveld freshman Matthew Myers was named to 2nd Team honors and was joined by Pecatonica freshman AJ Hendrickson, Argyle sophomore Riley Ostby, Monticello junior Ben May and Black Hawk senior Seth Butler.
Honorable Mention went to senior Tyler Hellenbrand and junior Brycen Sorensen boht of Barneveld, Pecatonica senior Zach Shilling, Black Hawk senior Brett Lovelace, Albany sophomore Tyler Dahl, Juda junior Cory Segner, Argyle senior Alec Treuthardt and Juda freshman Matt Schmitt.
Barneveld coach Mike Whitish was named Coach of the Year while Albany's Shell was named Player of the Year.
SIX RIVERS WEST
Conference champion Cassville placed two players on first team and had senior Ty Kartman named Player of the Year with coach Dennis Uppena named Coach of the Year.
Joining Kartman on First Team was senior teammate Cole Adams along with Potosi juior Brent Curtis, Shullsburg senior Connor Crotty and River Ridge junior Kirk Martin.
Second Team honors went to Cassville senior Ryan Kirschbaum, Belmont sophomore Raine Voigts and sophomore John Bahr, River Ridge senior Alex Breuer and Benton senior Laine Carver.
Named as Honorable Mention were Highland senior Andrew Wolfe and freshman John Ross Linscheid, Shullsburg seniors John Meyer and Nathan Hendrickson along with junior Brett Matye, Potosi junior Riley Hawes and senior Chase Kruser, Belmont sophomore Lane Kamps and senior Justin Nordorft, Cassville senior Elijah Okey, Benton seniors Patrick Dixon and Dylan Rozic and River Ridge senior Tyler Schmidt.
