Four area softball players added one more award to their respective collections last week, courtesy of the of the Wisconsin Fastpitch Softball Coaches Association.
Jenna Jacobson, Kylie Hoffman, McKenzie Sporle, and Beth Wood were each named to the 100-player WFSCA all-State team.
Jacobson and Hoffman, both from River Valley, were selected as an outfielder and pitcher, respectively.
Jacobson was named as a 1st Team while Hoffman made 3rd team.
Sporle, a senior from Barneveld, and Wood, a senior from Mineral Point, were tabbed as a catcher and pitcher, respectively.
Sporle was named Honorable Mention.
Wood was named to the 2nd Team
The 2014 all-state team consisted of 20 outfielders, 23 catchers, 27 pitchers, and 32 infielders.
