River Valley took its own Division 2 Regional mat championship Saturday with 244 team points. The newly formed Darlington/Black Hawk co-op finished second at 205.5.

The other team scores were: Prairie Du Chien/Wauzeka-Steuben 182, Cuba City/Southwestern 148, Dodgeville 118, Richland Center 113 and Belmont/Platteville 71.

River Valley posted four championships from 106 lb. Dustin Hatfield, 132 lb. Elijah Alt, 145 lb. Joe Crook and 195 lb. Zach Koch. Seconds went to: 113 lb. Gavin Wipperfurth, 152 lb. Cole Mahoney, 170 lb. Wyatt Schauf, 182 lb. Duane Pretsch, and 285 lb. Kaleb Crook.

Cuba City/Southwestern also came up with the four champs in 126 lb. JJ Donar, 138 lb. Josh Donar, 160 lb. Lucas Kastner and 182 lb. Brett Wilson.

Darlington/Black Hawk top spots came from 152 lb. Dakota Meier and 285 lb. Zach Wolf. They have runners-up in 106 lb. Joe Quinn, 120 lb. Jared Pickett, 126 lb. Colin Nowak, 152 lb. Dakota Meier and 285 lb. Zach Wolf.

Dodgeville's 170 lb. Brady Wetter disposed of his opponents with ease and claimed a championship. He will be joined by runner-up 132 lb. Tyler Wunnicke, Belmont-Platteville's Lucas Stoney won at 220 lbs. with 145 lb. John Hentrich finishing second.

Richland Center has three runners-up going to sectional in 138 lb. Hunter Whitney, 160 lb. Caleb Coleman and 195 lb. Silas Coleman.

The top two place winners will wrestle at Adams-Friendship Saturday with the top three in each weight class advancing to Individual State the following week.
