Mineral Point won the River Ridge/Cassville Division 3 Regional wrestling tournament held Saturday and in turn earned the right to compete in the following Tuesday night Team Sectional event at Royall High School in Elroy.
The Pointers posted 240 team points to runner-up Lancaster's 203.

The rest of the team scores were: Fennimore 197, Iowa-Grant/High-land 141, River Ridge/Cassville 99, Pecatonica/Argyle 51.

The Pointers had four champions and five runners-up, all who will be advancing to the Necedah Sectional Saturday - with the top three finishers there advancing to the state individual tournament the following week.

Winners were: 106 lb. Marcus Shannon, 138 lb. Ross Siegenthaler, 145 lb. Brandon Forseth and 220 lb. Brenyn Schmit.

Taking second were: 120 lb. Reid Suddeth, 126 lb. Frank Baker, 132 lb. Jake Riley, 15 lb. Scotty Pittz and 195 lb. Nate Cody.

Lancaster posted the most champions with five in: 126 lb. Kyle Mezera, 132 lb. Cole Martin, 152 lb. Trenton Cornell, 170 lb. Ethan Soderstrom and 182 lb. David Chadd.
Also advancing for the Arrows were; 106 lb. Lizzy Austin and 138 lb. Dustin Reynolds.

Iowa-Grant/Highland had one champion in 160 lb. Luke Nowak.
Seconds went to: 170 lb. Brian Halverson, 182 lb. Cody Rider and 220 lb. Kyle Soderstrom.

Fennimore registered four champions in 113 lb. Ty Davidson, 120 lb. Justin Tollefson, 195 lb. Logan Sheckles and 285 lb. David O'Brien.

They also had a runner-up in 160 lb. Brandon Ashmore.
Advancing for River Ridge/Cassville were two runners-up: 113 lb. David Seng and 145 lb. Desmond Crapp.

Pecatonica/Argyle will send 285 lb. Andrew Schiild as a runner-up.
