All I want for Christmas is you

By Kayla Barnes-

Christmas is the day we observe as the day Jesus Christ was
born long ago in a manger. It is also the day we celebrate each
other and write letters to Santa Claus to bring us gifts for being
good boys and girls.
My husband and I don't have children yet so we had no Santa
Letter's to write asking for presents and we didn't have any
screaming children to take to see the jolly man in the red suit
to take pictures with. We just spend our hard earned money on
our families and each other. We have yet to set a budget on
how much we spend on each other. I asked my husband how
much he spent on me so I could match the amount. All he told
me was it was "enough".
Christmas and birthdays are the days we spoil one another
with gifts that we may not even use in the years to come but at
that particular moment, we want these gifts. My husband told
me the only time he likes to go shopping is when it is for me.
He pretty much does spoil me rotten. I am blessed to have him
and know that he loves me so much to spend all his hard
earned money one me.
His job takes him everywhere and for the last two weeks he
has been up in Waupun and Waupaca and hasn't been home.
This only being the second year we have been married, it sucks
not having him around. He will have the holidays off but
sometimes I just want him to be home just because I miss him.
But just like that Christmas song that is on radio, "All I want
for Christmas is You".
