Susan Jorenby, Blanchardville and Thomas Hardin of Madison, are excited to announce their engagement and upcoming marriage. Susan is the daughter of the late Stanley and Ruth Jorenby of Hollandale/Blanchardville and Tom is the son of the late Betty Owen of Peoria, Il.
The bride-to-be is a graduate of UW-Platteville with a Bachelor of Science degree in Vocal, Instrumental and General Music Education/Performance. She returned to Wis from North Carolina 10 years ago, after pursuing her dream of musical theater and singing professionally. She teaches K-5 Music/Orchestra for Dodgeville Public Schools. Susan works in the Ridgeway location, just recently named a 'Blue Ribbon School.'
The groom received his Bachelor of Science from UW-Madison and his Masters from UW-Whitewater in English and Drama. He directs plays and musicals, and is also the director of a very successful forensic team for James Madison Memorial High School in Madison. He is the proud father of three, Allison, Melanie and Michael Hardin.
An August 16, 2014 wedding is planned at York Memorial Lutheran Church, Blanchardville.
