Pitching, defense help Eagles win
The senior hurler fanned seven and did not walk a batter in a complete game effort. The one run the Panthers got was unearned.
Tabitha Davis was almost as sharp for Juda. She gave up five hits, struck out seven and walked one. Only one of the runs she gave up was earned.
The five hits the Eagles got were singles by five different batters, namely Hailey Kleppe (1x4), Taylor Owens (1x3), Udelhofen (1x3), Samantha Evans (1x3) and Hannah Whitish (1x3).
"Juda put the ball in play and our defense played pretty well," said coach Craig Neuroth. "We have a few things to fix and our hitting will come around."
