Moneypenny hits for cycle in Panther win

Iowa-Grant's softball team unleashed a 17 hit attack with one girl hitting for the cycle and took care of Fennimore 16-2 in a five inning SWAL game Thursday.
A nine run fourth put the game out of reach.
Not lost in the win was the stingy pitching of junior Brea Stanton who went the distance, surrendering only three hits. She struck out two and walked only one.
Glassbrenner had one of the three Fennimore hits, a double that plated both Golden Eagles runs in the fifth.
Iowa-Grant first baseman Kylie Moneypenny was all business at the plage as she hit for the cycle with a single, double, triple and home run. Her round tripper sent in two runs for the Panthers and cleared the centerfield fence. She was 4x4 for a perfect day at the plate.
Brittany Lawinger had singled and Kaci Myers reached on a bunt and error before Moneypenny deposited the Dudley over the fence.
Rheann Engelke was 3x4 with a double and drove in a run.
Myers was 2x4 and pounded a double and triple and scored twice.
Ashley Liddicoat also doubled among the Panther hits.
Donna Stivarius and Chelsey Winkers also got into rbi mode with singles that drove in runs for IG.
