Art and Sandra (Bishop) Heuer of Cobb were united in marriage on September 19, 1953, at Peace Lutheran Church in Cobb. They are the parents of three daughters: Sharon Pete, Jill (Dan) Allen, and Lori (Peter) Melby. Art and Sandra also have eight grandchildren: Todd (Jennie) Pete, Brent (Lynnea) Allen, Brian (Shonda) Pete, Chad (Sarah) Allen, Joshua (Holly) Melby, Brittany, Christine, and Angela Melby. They also have five great grandchildren: Jaelyn Pete, Beckum Pete, Finnegan Allen, Tenleigh Pete, and Hayden Pete. The family is celebrating their 60th anniversary with a family brunch.
