One of the best special editions we do is termed just that..."Best Of."
Every year we survey our readers and ask them who has or does or is their choice for the "Best Of." And every year the response is greater than the year before.
Some of those chosen for that designation seem to do things so well that they win every year. Others are newcomers to the voting and are in for the first time.
Many of those who have won in the past are in the top two or three, even if they are not the annual winner.
Businesses and others in the categories use the voting as kind of a report card. They see what the people they serve think of them. In some cases they try harder the next year.
We would like to thank the businesses for what they do whether they win a category or not. We would also like to thank the voters who took their time to cast one for their favorite.
