Vanessa Carlson nabs post-season volleyball honors

Already with an undefeated conference season leading to conference and regional championships, post-season honors roll in for Vanessa Clarson.
The 5-foot-1 sophomore defensive specialist, two years removed from River Valley High School, was named all-conference and all-region last week.
Clarson has amassed 557 digs this season to once again lead the WolfPack in that category.
Clarson had familiar faces joining her on both post-season squads as Danielle Crawford and Elizabeth Mahsem picked up the same honors as Clarson, and Payton Klein was also an all-region selection and a second-team all-conference player.
The WolfPack's head coach, Toby Parker, was named coach of the year as well.
Winning of 31 of 34 matches this season, Madison College will begin play in the NJCAA Division III national tournament in Rochester, Minn., later this week.
