Lancaster's John VanDeHey fired a two-over-par 37 in windy conditions Tuesday to lead his Lancaster golf team to a 157-167 win over River Valley in a SWC meet held at Dodge-Point Country Club.
The Dodgers finished third at 171 with Prairie du Chien next with 187 and Platteville at 210. Richland Center competed with an incomplete team.
River Valley scores were: Alex Wedige 39, Aaron Feiner 40, Graham Westley 42, Beau Solomon 46 and Hayden Ring 48.
Dodgeville was led by Chapin Orr's 39 then came a bunch of 44s from Nate Hottmann, Kory Beerkircher and Steven Stadler. Garrett Schiltz cmae in with a 54.
In JV play, River Valley scored 184 with Dodgeville next at 198.
The rest of the team scores were: Dodgeville B 204, Lancaster 229, Platteville 230 and Prairie du Chien 261.
Dodgeville JV scores were: Cole Anderson 46, Matthew Clerkin 48, John Sanders 51, Riley Berning 53 and Zach Dressler 55.
For Dodgeville B scores were: Dalton Nohns 47, Eichler Vellinga 50, Graham Dalsing 53, Ben Lacke 54 and Zach Nelson 63.
River Valley scores were: Alex Shifflet 45, Jared Goers and Casey Hopkins 46, Anders Wermuth 47 and James Franks 48.
