Donald & Jennifer Schmidt of Kaukauna, WI announce the engagement of their daughter, Danielle Renee Schmidt, to Jason Anthony Lawinger, son of Gregory & Darlys Lawinger of Madison, WI and grandson of Betty Lawinger, Mineral Point, WI.

The future bride graduated from Kaukauna High School and continued her education at the University of WI-Milwaukee with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism as well as a Cosmetology degree from the Aveda Institute. She is employed as a hair designer at Neroli Salon & Spa in Brookfield, WI and is the executive assistant at The Basilica of St. Josaphat Foundation.

The future groom graduated from Madison West High School and continued his education at MATC-Madison receiving a degree in Hospitality & Tourism. Jason is co-owner of Game Time Sport's Memorabilia located in Milwaukee, WI.

A September 2013 wedding is planned at The Basilica of St. Josaphat in Milwaukee.
