Wetter come up short in state opener


Dodgeville freshman Brady Wetter had his Division 2 WIAA State individual Wrestling Tournament stay cut short Thursday night when he suffered a pin in the first round.
Wetter closed out his first season of high school wrestling with a 32-10 record at a tough 152 lb. weight. Three of those losses came at the hands of River Valley state champion Seth Liegel.
"Brady had a tough draw in his match," said Dodgeville coach Tim Wunnicke. "He's just a freshman at a pretty tough weight. It's just a huge accompishment just to get to state and he's got three more years to go."
