Crowley hits 1000, Dodgers win big
Crowley joins Karl Clough, Rob Meudt and Iom Westhoff in the boys' 1000 point club.
The senior pumped in 22 points in the first half, showing his consistency with 11 in each quarter.
The Dodgers were ahead 8-0 quickly and led 21-12 a the end of the first frame. From there on out they never looked back with all the players getting considerable playing time. Ten Players scored.
Junior Nate Hottmann added 15 points and senior Mitchell Olson 10.
Wautoma was led by 6'0" senior Anthony Giliberto with 21 points.
"We came out strong," said Dodger coach Ryan Bohnsack. "We took the lead and it was really never in doubt."
In talking about Crowley, Bohnsack said, "It's a huge accompishment for the team to produce a 1000 point player. In three years he has shot 33% from three point, 78 from the free throw line and 52% from two point. He's had over 500 points this season. He's put in a ton of itme shooting and he's not a selfish player as he always gets his team involved. He distributes the ball."
"We have some things that we have to fine tune before we have a big batle with River Valley Friday ninght," Bohnsack said.
River Valley is one of the three teams that tied for the SWC championship - Dodgeville and Richland Center are the other two.
