Lancaster won eight out of nine matches in the finals and breezed to the Division 3 championship at their own wrestling regional Saturday.
The Arrows, SWC team champion, had Mineral Point, SWAL team champion, and SWAL runner-up Iowa-Grant/Highland - all finishing wih enough points to win a regional.
Lancaster won with 276.5 team points to the Pointers 217.5. with I-G/H third with 207.
The Arrows led in sectional qualifiers with nine while both Mineral Point and Iowa-Grant/Highland qualified eight each.
The Pointers had champions in 112 lb. Reid Suddeth, 152 lb. Tucker Pickel and 195 lb. Robby Chubb, who moved up from his usual 182 lb. weight.
Runners-up were: 120 lb. Scotty Pittz, 126 lb. Ross Siegenthaler, 132 lb. Jake Riley, 160 lb. John Schmitz and 285 lb. Brian Steffes.
The Panthers won championships at 138 with Tucker Sarbacker and 285 with Ben McFall.
Their runners-up were: 106 lb. Shania Sarbacker, 145 lb. Luke Nowak, 152 lb. Brian Halverson, 182 lb. Kyle Soderstrom, 195 lb. Derek Peat and 220 lb. Cody Rider.
"It was a tough weekend at Lancaster. Congrats to them; they have a very good team," said Iowa-Grant/Highland coach Ryan Allen. "I thought we wrestled better than last week and hope we can keep getting better as next Saturday approaches. I thought qualifying 8 to sectionals was pretty good, but obviously I'd have liked to see more champs. I was hoping to get Jordan Jenks through but unfortunately he was in a tough bracket and didn't make it.
"I'm excited for a great week of practice and hopefully we can get 8 guys moving on to state. Also, congratulations to Tucker Sarbacker for getting his 130th career win as an I-G wrestler."
The rest of the team scores and number of qualifiers were: Fennimore 143, Black Hawk 98 (1), Darlington 59 (0) and Pecatonica-Argyle 52 (0).
