It took Dodgeville's boys basketball team a quarter to figure out Platteville Friday.
Platteville led 14-9 at the end of the first quarter before the Dodgers went on a 25-7 run. Matt Crowley and Austin Larson led the run with nine and eight points.
The Dodgers expanded their 34-21 halftime lead to 46-35 after three quarters and went on to win the SWC match-up 60-44.
Crowley led the Dodgers with 24 points and Larson finished with 11.
"We came right out and took care of business in a conference game on the rod. We need ot take care of business frm here on out," said Dodger coach Ryan Bohnsack.
"Mitchell stepped up for us toniht as did Austin. We need other guys besides Nick to step up every night," he added.
