Are you ready for some football?

Welcome to the 2013 high school football season.
Action in the state gets underway Friday and all but one of the teams we cover are in action.
Mineral Point invades Dodgeville for a non-conference opener for both teams.
Iowa-Grant entertains New-Glarus Monticello in another non-conference game.
Highland travels to Wauzeka-Steuben while Brodhead-Juda will be in Spring Green for River Valley's home opener.
Mount Horeb-Barneveld will be on the road to Monroe.
The lone Saturday game finds Pecatonica-Argyle at UW-Platteville where they will face Belmont at 5 p.m.
While this is the first game, all the teams will be hoping for a season successful enough to reach the play-offs. The WIAA has released the enrollment figures they have for each school along with the unofficial post season divisional projections.
Mount Horeb-Barneveld is listed at an 829 enrollment and is projected for Division 3.
River Valley (450) and Dodgeville (412) are listed in Division 4.
