Isaac Lindsey plays for AAU national cage champion
The tournament was held in Cocoa Beach, FL and the main game venue was on the Eastern Florida State campus. After a full week of incredible competition, the team that came away with the right to call themselves the best 5th grade team in the country was Wisconsin Playground Elite. Playing for this successful team was one of Mineral Point's own: Isaac Lindsey. Lindsey had several solid performances during the week highlighted by his 17 point performance in the team's Elite Eight game which included 5 three pointers.
Isaac and his team posted a perfect 7-0 record during the week and capped off the championship run with a convincing victory in the final game over the WACG team out of Nashville, TN. The rest of their victories came against the West Coast All Stars (Sacramento, CA), Leesburg Basketball Club (Loudoun County, VA), Team Takeover (Baltimore, MD), Gulf Coast Blue Chip (Houston, TX), Inland Force (Los Angeles, CA), and Perry Ballers Black (Atlanta, GA). Isaac would like to send out a heartfelt thank you to all of the family and friends who called and sent encouraging messages during his memorable week.
