Dr. John and LaVerna Samuelson of Blue Mounds will celebrate 50 years of marriage on November 3rd. They were married in Swindon, Wiltshire, England while they were both serving as commissioned officers with the U.S. Air Force (John as a veterinarian and Laverna as a registered nurse). Both are originally from Kansas. They have 3 sons, Scott (Arlene) of Fort Collins, Colorado, Steve (Lauren) of Mt. Horeb and Tim (Tracey) of Eau Claire, and 8 wonderful grandchildren. They will be celebrating with their family.
