Philip and Rita Marklein of Spring Green will celebrate their 60th Wedding Anniversary with an open house on Sunday, October 14 from 1:30 - 4:30 p.m. at the Wisconsin Riverside Resort (Shifflet's at S13220 Shifflet Road) in Spring Green.
Rita (Moran) and Philip Marklein were married on October 25, 1952 at St. Malachy's Church in Clyde by Father Lambert Marx. Phil and Rita have five daughters: Kathy (Joe) Loy, Fennimore; Coreen Marklein, Baraboo; Mary (Bryan) Reeve and Karen Marklein, Spring Green; and Marsha (Philipp) Marty, Madison. They have four grandsons and 2 great-grandchildren.
