Kelly and Ruth Lodahl were married November 16, 1952 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Cornell, WI. They celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with a gathering of relatives and friends at Trinity Lutheran Church, Stevens Point, WI.
They had 4 children, Gary (Jill) Lodahl, Dodgeville, WI, Sue (Ken) Meigs, Black Earth, WI, Kevin (Donna) Lodahl, Sparta, WI, Farolee Bulack, Stevens Point, WI; eight grandchildren and 2 great granddaughters.
Ruth owned and operated several dress shops over the years. Ruth's Fashions and Town and Country gift and children's shop, Mineral Point, WI and Village Fashions in Stevens Point, WI.
Kelly retired from the USDA (Farmers Home Adm) and as a licensed Wisconsin real estate appraiser, specializing in farm properties.
They spend their winters in Naples, FL where Kelly has volunteered for over 22 years at Habitat for Humanity building homes for low income families. Ruth has volunteered at the Habitat resale store helping low income families furnish their homes.
