ESPN recently released its 2012-13 broadcast schedule, and an LIU Brooklyn women's basketball game will air this season.
Courtney Sullivan, a graduate of Barneveld High School, is a 5-foot-6 junior guard in her first season with the Blackbirds after two years at Marshalltown Community College in Marshalltown, Ia.
ESPN3 will come to the Wellness Center on the LIU campus to broadcast the game between the Blackbirds and Northeast Conference opponent Robert Morris, Saturday, Feb. 03, 2013.
The game will tip off at 12 p.m., and is part of a doubleheader with the LIU Brooklyn men's basketball team, who will also take on Robert Morris, but at 3 p.m.
The Blackbirds' women's team was recently picked to finish sixth in the preseason NEC Coaches Poll, and is coming off a 21-win season in 2011-12.
They will open their season on Friday, Nov. 09 at city rival Columbia; tipoff is set for 12 p.m.
