The Harris family is pleased to announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of Karin C. Dowling and Alex J. Ward. Karin is the granddaughter of Delva Harris- Anderson of Dodgeville. Karin attended Michigan State University and graduated as a hospitality major in 2008. She is presently working for Marriott as a sales manager at the Marriot Northern MidAmerica Sales Office in Rosemont. Alex also attended Michigan State and graduated in 2007 from the Business School with a degree in supply chain management. He currently works for Ernst & Young in Chicago as a performance improvement manager.
Karin's aunts, uncles and many cousins from Wisconsin and Illinois will attend the wedding. The event will take place June 9, 2012 in a unique, historic venue located in Lincoln Park, Illinois. The couple is planning a honeymoon in Thailand.
